Available Positions:
1. Dance Instructors (Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Mommy and Me)
- Ages: 2-18
- Responsibilities:
▪ Teach engaging and educational dance classes for students at various skill levels.
▪ Create lesson plans that inspire creativity, foster technical growth, and encourage self-expression.
▪ Collaborate with the team to develop choreography for performances and events.
▪ Providing a nurturing and positive learning environment for young dancers.
▪ Participate in studio performances and special events.
- Requirements:
▪ Strong background in either Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, or Early Childhood dance (Mommy and Me classes).
▪ Experiences teaching children ages 2-18.
▪ A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on young students.
▪ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
2. Administrate/Office Staff
- Responsibilities:
▪ Provide administrative support, including scheduling, managing class registrations, and communication with parents.
▪ Assist in organizing studio events, performances, and competitions.
▪ Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and warmth.
▪ Maintain a positive and welcoming studio environment for students and families.
- Requirements:
▪ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
▪ Experiences in office work, preferably in a dance studio or educational setting.
▪ Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Professional Dancers (Performance Opportunities)
- Responsibilities:
▪ Perform in SoCal Arts’ theatre shows, in-house events, and other community performances.
▪ Collaborate with the teaching team to inspire young dancers and contribute to the vibrant studio culture
- Requirements:
▪ Professional dance experience in either Ballet, Jazz, or Contemporary dance.
▪ Ability to work in a collaborative and educational environment.
▪ Willingness to mentor young dancers through performance opportunities.
